But actually, my favorite part was Section 5: Reboot. I am a bit philosophical so that is the part that really captured my interest. The questions posed in the last chapter felt important. It addresses society’s new pervasive anxiety beautifully, and the ideas, strategies, and personal stories will touch and guide people of all age groups and walks of life. It achieves a nice balance between professional advice and personal vignettes, making the warmth and sincerity behind this project clearly evident. Because every human at some point experiences, to one degree or another, feelings and situations that this book addresses, and all of us encounter individuals made recognizable within these pages, we can all benefit from the insights collected here, as well as help ourselves and others, particularly those who may appreciate a finer-tuned approach, to find greater clarity and ease during these unprecedented times. I will happily recommend this book to everyone I encounter because it is pertinent to all people in a complex society at a complicated moment in history. There is something for Everybody! It's comforting, validating and informative - and the personal stories are gripping. Many of us have experienced the pandemic feeling isolated and misunderstood - this book is like a comforting blanket that helps you feel you are not alone in your fears and anxieties.
